Set out before the first tile

Where the cuts land is decided before anything is fixed. We set out from sightlines and focal points so full tiles sit where the eye goes and cuts are pushed to the least visible edge.

Flatness is not optional

Large-format tiles are unforgiving. We correct substrate flatness with screed or levelling compound first, use the right notch and back-butter large formats to achieve full bed coverage, and eliminate the hollow spots that later crack.

Wet areas done in sequence

Bathrooms and terraces get tanking and a flood test before tiling. Movement joints go where the structure requires them, not where they are convenient.
